She previously spent seven years working as a content producer for WFLA, an NBC affiliate in Tampa, Florida, and four years as a producer for HuffPost Live in New York and Los Angeles. She's covered hurricanes, elections, gators and manatees.
Athina is based out of WWNO in New Orleans. In her spare time, she loves to travel, listen to music and spend time with her dog, Ruthie.
